Facilities using machines with medium-sized and modern phased array head coils can now test those coils for accreditation and routine quality control with a properly sized phantom — the ACR Medium MRI Accreditation Phantom from Sun Nuclear.

High Quality Imaging

Large air gaps between the coil and the phantom can result in distorted images and artifacts. This phantom is the largest phantom available for medium-sized, modern phased array head coils, sitting snugly within the machine for high-quality imaging.

Versatile and Easy to Use

The ACR Medium MRI Accreditation Phantom has been built for convenient, simplified workflows. With this phantom, you can now use the same MR coil for both acquiring phantom images and for required technologist QC, eliminating extra handling and setup time required for completing both tasks separately.

An included refill kit with extra fluid adds convenience if air bubbles are found — no need to send in for servicing. A bubble level is also provided to facilitate alignment of the phantom to the scanner bore.

Meet Accreditation Standards

The ACR Medium MRI Accreditation Phantom is approved for accreditation of MR scanners in the modular Magnetic Resonance Accreditation Program (MRAP).
