Sun Nuclear’s first digital reference class electrometer, the PC Electrometer, is now available and shipping to customers. The PC Electrometer combines ultra-portability (0.4kg) with leading performance specifications and dual independent measurement channels. PC Electrometer operates without batteries or a separate power cord, a USB connection to a computer handles all power and data requirements.

Sun Nuclear’s first water tank instrument, the 1D SCANNER, is now available and shipping to customers. The 1D SCANNER automatically detects water depth, and uses this information to control accurate detector positioning relative to the water surface. This time saving feature also removes setup subjectivity to ensure that dose measurements are as accurate and precise as possible.

MapCALC software version 1.1 is now available. Version 1.1 adds support for MU calculations for IMRT and automated data import. Sun Nuclear is pleased to introduce the SRS PROFILER for the Accuray® CyberKnife treatment delivery system. The SRS PROFILER is the only array specifically designed to provide independent QA for CyberKnife. The SRS PROFILER provides real time output, flatness, symmetry and field size with a single exposure.

IC PROFILER - The waterless water tank is now available and shipping. The IC PROFILER is a faster, more compact version of a 3D water scanner. Ionization chambers on X, Y, and diagonal profiles measure all beam energy profiles in a single measurement.

Comparable to a 3D water scanner in performance, but much faster, use the IC PROFILER for LINAC factory testing, field installation and service, and routine trending of LINAC beam characteristics.

With the release of MapCHECK version 4.0, EPIDose now supports the Siemens EPID, in addition to Varian aS500 and aS1000 EPIDs, for independent dose based IMRT QA. EPIDose seamlessly integrates with the MapCHECK software to allow easy, accurate, and independent EPID based plan QA.
